The HDMI 8K 60Hz and 4K 120Hz cable extends the transmission capacity of the armored cable series. Like the standard HDMI cables, it can withstand short-term pressure loads of up to 200 kilograms thanks to its highly flexible steel sheathing. As an active-optical cable, transmission distances of up to 100 meters are no problem here either. However, with HDMI 2.1 and 8K capability, it is already designed for future requirements. Another new feature is an aluminum plug protection and – in the rental version – a robust plug screw connection. This allows the plugs to be firmly connected to devices. This is particularly necessary for complex installations with seamless switchers or crossbars. An additional dust cap protects the connector pins during transportation.
PANZERKABEL® cables are used for both rental and permanent installations. All cables are CE, ROHS, REACH and FCC certified and available directly from stock in Dresden. The driver chips and laser diodes used come from the renowned German manufacturers Silicon Line and Laser Enterprise. Thanks to EDID and HDCP management, the cables function smoothly in Windows or Apple ecosystems and do not require an additional power supply.
