The cable construction is designed for frequent winding and unwinding. It was specifically designed for high transmission rates and minimal signal attenuation.

The steel-reinforced fiber optic cable offers optimal protection against damage and is particularly suitable for demanding environments such as events, military, and industrial settings. This highly durable fiber optic cable with steel armor and PUR sheath is crush-resistant and durable, for example, when run over by vehicles. The PUR sheath ensures a long service life for the fiber optic cable; at the same time, the cable is ideally suited for outdoor use. The black sheathing ensures discreet installations. Removable protective sleeves with a convenient pull-in aid simplify disassembly and allow for the transmission of up to 8 LC fibers. This special fiber optic cable is reinforced with aramid fibers, easily withstanding high tensile loads. With a cable diameter of only 5 mm, the cable remains highly flexible and can be easily wound onto drums. The LWL-PRO series guarantees maximum reliability even under extreme conditions.

Single-mode and multi-mode fibers in various cable lengths are available from stock on reels. The length of the cable on the auxiliary winding is 5 m.
